This insert is then encapsulated in durable, heavy-duty Urethane, so the dumbbell will not scuff or damage equipment, walls or floors. This solid, welded design provides superior durability and maintenance free reliability.

Welded construction and an injection-molded exterior also allow us to make our Urethane dumbbells much shorter in length than bulky pro-style dumbbells. This compact design makes Urethane dumbbells much easier and safer to handle. They also feature our patented 12-sided, anti-roll heads with stable, flat, tip-resistant ends. Easy-to-read weight markings are permanently engraved and bonded into the surface.

Iron Grip Solid Steel Dumbbells are built by welding a precision-machined steel handle into a drilled, chamfered and fully machined head. The Solid Steel line is available with a durable black finish, with easy-to-read weight markings permanently engraved and painted on each head.

All handles are now available with our exclusive industrial Hard Chrome finish, which is extremely resistant to chipping, flaking or peeling.

Iron Grip Pro-Style Dumbbells:

Iron Grip Pro-Style Dumbbells are assembled in the U.S., using aircraft-grade 5/8" hex bolts to ensure the most secure construction. We also apply an exclusive locking compound on the threads to further strengthen the bond and prevent the bolts from loosening prematurely. All plates are manufactured with exceptionally tight tolerances to minimize the chance of loosening.

Iron Grip Pro-Style Dumbbells are available in either iron or rubber. Both versions have heavy-duty, Urethane-encased steel end caps with the weight markings and Iron Grip logo permanently engraved on each end. Urethane end caps are oversized for stability and comfort when the dumbbell is stood on end. Rubber dumbbells feature a durable, facility-friendly rubber coating and iron dumbbells feature hardwearing hammertone gray paint. Both are manufactured with exceptionally tight tolerances to minimize the chance of loosening.
